At GreenSnout, our story begins the same way many pet parents’ stories do, with the animals we love and the choices we make for them every day. Over the years, we cared for several dogs and relied on the familiar foods, treats, and household products we were used to. As time went on, some of our pets developed health issues. Whether those issues were connected to the products we used, we’ll never know, but they made us rethink everything.

At the same time, we became more aware of how everyday products impact the environment. We love nature, and we didn’t want our habits to harm the planet we enjoy so much. As we started making healthier choices for ourselves, it only made sense to do the same for our pets.

That’s when we began searching for better options: natural treats, safer toys, eco‑friendly grooming products, and everyday essentials made with care. We found great products but they were scattered across different websites, hidden behind confusing ingredient lists, or buried among items we’d never feel comfortable using in our own home.

So we decided to build the kind of store we wished existed.
