If something doesn’t meet our requirements, we simply don’t add it.

Most of our treats are single‑ingredient or made from whole, unprocessed foods like freeze‑dried meats, natural chews, and organic additions. Whether it’s a supplement, topical, treat, or food, every ingredient is reviewed to ensure it’s safe for pets, people, and the environment.

If an ingredient isn’t natural or naturally derived, it doesn’t make it into our store.

Our Requirements

Every product we offer must meet our natural, eco‑friendly, and safety standards. We review every ingredient and material ourselves, ensuring each item is something we would feel comfortable using in our own home.

To be included on GreenSnout, a product must:

  • Be made from natural ingredients or safe, natural materials

  • Meet our definition of eco‑friendly (recycled, natural, biodegradable, or recyclable)

  • Be safe to ingest or use

  • Contain no artificial ingredients or synthetic preservatives

  • Have no hidden ingredients, vague blends, or unclear formulas

  • Avoid misleading claims or exaggerated promises

Category‑specific requirements:

Treats & Food: Natural, single‑ingredient or whole‑food based; preserved through natural methods such as heat or plant‑based preservatives.

Toys: Made from safe materials such as natural rubber, cotton, recycled materials, or biodegradable options.

Supplements: Clear, complete ingredient lists; unfamiliar ingredients are researched before approval; single‑ingredient supplements are welcome when they meet our standards.

Our personal rule: If we wouldn’t feel comfortable using it in our own home, we won’t add it to GreenSnout.
