At GreenSnout, we believe pets deserve products made with intention: real ingredients, natural materials, and choices that protect both animals and the planet. Our standards guide every product we consider, and we never compromise on what matters most: safety, quality, and care.

These are the principles behind every item we offer.

Natural Means Natural

When we say “natural,” we mean it.

We do not allow:

  • Artificial ingredients

  • Synthetic ingredients

  • Chemicals

  • Artificial colors, flavors, or fragrances

  • Synthetic preservatives

  • Processed materials treated with synthetic substances

Every ingredient and material must come from nature, plant‑based, animal‑based, or whole‑food sources like organs, bones, fruits, vegetables, and natural oils.

If it isn’t naturally derived, it doesn’t make it into our store.

Eco‑Friendly, Always

A product is considered eco‑friendly at GreenSnout if it meets at least one of the following:

  • Recyclable

  • Biodegradable

  • Made from natural materials

  • Made from recycled materials

Most of our eco‑friendly products meet more than one of these standards, but only one is required to qualify.

Our goal is simple: offer products that are better for pets and better for the planet.

What We Never Allow

There are certain things you will never find at GreenSnout:

  • Plastics

  • Chemicals

  • Artificial ingredients

  • Synthetic ingredients

  • Harmful or non‑natural materials

  • Anything not derived from plants or whole animal ingredients

If it isn’t safe, natural, or eco‑friendly, it doesn’t belong here.

How We Review Every Product

Before adding anything to our store, we look at it the same way we would if we were buying it for our own pets.

We review:

  • Ingredient list

  • Material list

  • Brand transparency

  • Customer reviews

  • Sourcing

  • Safety

  • Ethical care (especially for whole‑animal treats like bones and tracheas)

Even if it’s a brand we already carry, every new product is reviewed individually to ensure it meets our standards.

We don’t currently evaluate packaging, but we still review the product itself with the same level of care and intention.

  • Home goods 

Every product must be natural or eco‑friendly no exceptions, no filler items, and no “good enough” products. Even our cleaning and home‑care items are plant‑based and free from chemicals.

Our Non‑Negotiable Rule

If we wouldn’t use it for our own pets, we won’t offer it.
